I have good knowledge and skills in several fields: Web design, icons, interaction design, editorial & print, identity & corporate image, illustration and photography. Using these different skills I can create projects from conception to actual realization. Actually, my principal specialization is in Graphical User Interface Design applied to a Web Service and mobile device: .Beta, Clipperz, Jabe.-

iOS UI
Designing interfaces for iPhone is amazing and exciting! I have always appreciated and love the work from Apple Designer and with the arrival of the App Store, the whole community of developers and UI designers becomes very encouraged to create great applications and interfaces.
In these projects I work on the UI design of iPhone app: from the initial design through sketches and ideas to the UI prototype. It's very good to carry out projects combining knowledge exciting as usability, interaction and graphics design.

Clipperz: new graphical user interface
Clipperz is an online password manager and required a full graphic restyling of a interface of service. This project consists in a design of every screen, flow and flash prototype of Web interface, with new graphics template. Updated the user interface to improve usability and add a new features. The intention is to obtain the new design more user-friendly and more useful. -
.beta: designing web 2.0 interfaces
Today the web has an important role on society. Internet’s potentialities and its development evolve constantly, and it’s hard to forecast exactly the web’s future. In the age of images, society is more influenced by visual artefacts. Now the information is conveyed and diffused by a chancing technology, that’s uncontrollable for its speed. The web is a rational, communal, socio-cultural field and inside it it’s possible to have access to an immense amount of informations, it’s becoming the “new” communicational media: unreal information, not physical information, not material information, it will upset the modern human future. In current society the web’s virtual world coexists with the real life and it’s mixing with it, opening in infinite ways. Within the computerized communication systems, the influx of data is do not necessarily depends on the actions of men, but now takes place in an independent and automatic way. Because of this condition we question how we can successfully implement an appropriate instrument for the actual state of information; it would answers to the new issues meet by graphic design. This project consists in an essay about the user graphical interface and a study of the Web 2.0 phenomenon, related to a prototype: Ystle. The research theme advertes in particular to usability concept. While to develop the prototype were realized a specific guidelines of the image.

Jabe project: user interface
This is a prototype for degree thesis of my Informatic Engineer collaborator Andrea Biondi (biogurt[at]gmail.com): my dear friend that have completed (cleverly!) an important route. The project consists in a realization of a Web service for the sharing of informations about parteciping events. I called it “Web Jamming Point”: users can share informations and multimedia contents about events through the net. A place in Web where people who partecipate to an event (or would do that) can meet and share opinions and materials (audio, video, documents, ecc…). The relevance of an event is not only given by the importance of the event itself (a baptism rather than a fair or the global launch of a movie), but also by the partecipation and the interest of people who join it or collaborate. Anyone can be a user of this system… and anyone who use it does it because of a active interest in keeping that event which he experienced or that is going to happen! Also he could be interested to know what happened even if he was not present. Out of the traditional communication channels, like as “technical” websites that talk about determined matters, and most of all far from press agencies, the event, bringing together people who otherwise couldn’t meet each other, still remains a meeting point even after it’s over and especially it may become a confrontation chance.

Rainbeam
Rainbeam is a natural light installation taking place on a blank wall in a dark alley of Venice called Calle dei Albanesi.
By simply standing or walking through it, people would affect the lighting by making the projected light cells go up and down along their presence.
The effect should be quite astonishing in reason of the lights acting as rain drops, and changing their shape and colour gradient according to the sun position. The core idea for the project was to have a mechanical/analogic approach so as to have a more physical installation, a way of embedding a natural element within the interactive piece.Create by: Taddeo Zacchini (me), Lorenzo Cercelletta and Davide Cocchi
